required documents\u3011<\/span> \u30fbBirth certificate<br \/>\n\u30fbPassport<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">*In the case of previous marriages, a divorce decree from a Romanian court is required if the spouse is divorced, or a death certificate if the spouse is deceased.<\/span><\/div>\n<p><strong>(2) Submit the marriage certificate to the municipal office of the city, ward, town or village in Japan<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"k2\">\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u3010Required Documents\u3011<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u30fbMarriage registration<br \/>\n\u30fbCertificate of oath (with Japanese translation) of above (1).<br \/>\n\u30fbBirth certificate (with Japanese translation) for Romanian nationals<br \/>\n\u30fbResidence card (if residing in Japan)<br \/>\n\u30fbA photo identification (driver&#8217;s license, etc.) and a seal (inkan) of a Japanese national<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">*A copy of the family register is also required if the marriage is to be registered at a place other than the domicile of the Japanese national.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">*If the Romanian national has a marital history, a written divorce decree from a Romanian court is required if the spouse is divorced, or a death certificate if the spouse is deceased.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>(3) Reportable notification to the Romanian Embassy in Japan (within 6 months of marriage registration)<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"k2\">\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u3010Required Documents\u3011<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u30fbCertificate of Acceptance of Marriage and a copy of the family register after marriage (with apostille certification by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs)<br \/>\n\u30fbPassports of the two parties<br \/>\n\u30fbBirth certificate for Romanian nationals<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-7164 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/international-marriage.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/\/22933222-300x216.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"216\" srcset=\"https:\/\/international-marriage.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/22933222-300x216.png 300w, https:\/\/international-marriage.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/22933222.png 755w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"background-color: #f6babc;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u3010How to get married in Romania first\u3011<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<div class=\"k3\"><strong><strong>(1) Japanese nationals obtain a Certificate of Legal capacity to contract marriage (Single Certificate) from the Embassy of Japan in Romania.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"k2\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u3010Required Documents for Japanese Nationals\u3011<\/span><br \/>\n\u30fbFamily register\u30fbpassport<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">*If married, a divorce certificate is required if the spouse is divorced, and a death certificate is required if the spouse is deceased.<\/span><\/div>\n<p><strong>(2) Go to the city hall of the Romanian national&#8217;s place of residence to complete the marriage procedures.<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"k2\">\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u3010Required Documents\u3011<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u30fbMarriage Affidavit<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">*If the Japanese person does not understand Romanian, an authorized interpreter is usually required.<\/span><br \/>\n\u30fbCertificate of Legal capacity to contract marriage for Japanese nationals<br \/>\n\u30fbFamily register (Romanian translation with apostille certification)<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">*If the Japanese national has a marital history, a copy of the family register showing death if the spouse is deceased or divorce if the spouse is divorced is required.<\/span><br \/>\n\u30fbMedical certificates for both parties (issued by the hospital designated by the city office in the place of residence of the Romanian nationals, valid for 14 days) Valid for 14 days)<br \/>\n\u30fbPassports of the two parties<br \/>\n\u30fbBirth certificate and ID card for Romanian nationals<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">*If you have been married before, you will also need a death certificate if your spouse has died or a divorce certificate if you have separated.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>(3) After the 10-day public announcement of the marriage by the City Hall in (2) above, a civil marriage ceremony is held between 11 and 14 days after the application is filed.
